HOW I GOT HERE:
My acting career has taken a few twists and turns: I’ve won some awards for theater and narration alike, I have ALOT of training (some of it even impressive), and I currently find myself the luckiest actor in the world, reading books for a living and working for the big 5 publishers. These days I’m a sucker for horror, historical fiction and literary fiction. My wheelhouse of women tend have a deficit of manners and an oversupply of gumption. They take no shit and say the hard things. When moonlighting as Scarlett Dorian, I get to inhabit an entirely new set of women! They range from soft and stumbling, to plucky and cocksure and I love them all equally.
When I found audiobook narration, it came at a time of creative unrest for me: I was outgrowing my career in theater, I hadn’t yet found a fulfilling alternative and I was ripe for a new artistic love. Narrating has become that vocational home for me. I am so grateful to the authors and producers who allow me to do this work.
